Diosual was created in 2017 under the name GC Produções e Conteúdo. The name nodded to the initials of the founder, Guto Colunga, being renamed Diosual in 2021. The company's new name represents a global brand and the combination of the word "audiovisual," creating a name that evokes a transcendent, unique, and limitless experience, with the main goal of inspiring us to be more creative, fun, and daring in order to tell high-quality stories to Brazilian and international audiences.

Aguinaldo Silva
With a passion for literature, Aguinaldo Silva describes himself as a "compulsive reader." He believes that everything you hear or read has the potential to become a story. He transfers this passion to his soap operas but has cultivated the habit of observing and listening to the world around him since his teenage years. He worked as a journalist before co-writing "Anything Goes" (1988) with Gilberto Braga and writing the popular soap opera "Tieta" (1989).
Aguinaldo Silva's countless successes include A Indomada (The Untamed) (1997), Senhora do Destino (Lady of the Destiny) (2004), and Laços de Sangue (Blood Ties) (2010), a production for Portugal's SIC TV that won Best Telenovela (Best Soap Opera) at the 39th International Emmy Awards. His work continued with "Looks & Essence" (2011) and "Empire" (2014), the latter of which also won the Best Telenovela (Best Soap Opera) category at the 43rd International Emmy Awards. Pedro Vasconcelos
Pedro Vasconcelos, a prominent Brazilian filmmaker, has been working on remarkable projects in Brazilian television and cinema for the past 22 years. Two of his most well-known films, both released in 2017, are the remake of "Dona Flor and Her Two Husbands" and the adaption of Fala Sério, Mãe! (Come on, Mom!). He recently filmed O Mágico Di Ó (The Wizard of Ó) which has yet to be released.
Pedro Vasconcelos has also left a meaningful legacy in television. He began directing children's programs, including "Bambuluá" and Sítio do Pica Pau Amarelo (Yellow Woodpecker Ranch), in 2000, before joining the team of directors in charge of "Soulmate." He gradually gained prominence in TV Globo's drama department, undertaking the direction of hits such as "Written in the Stars," "Empire," "Edge of Desire," "Time After Time," and Espelho da Vida (Mirror of Life) marking his debut as an artistic director.
Pedro Vasconcelos also has a background in acting, besides directing, having played significant roles in productions such as "Sweet Creek," "Vamp," Malhação (Young Hearts), Fera Ferida (The Injured Beast), and "The Next Victim.” He decided, however, to focus on using his abilities behind the camera.
Pedro is currently working on the sequel to the feature film Fala Sério, Mãe 2! (Come on, Mom! 2), by Thalita Rebouças, and the series "Land of Shadows", based on the book written by Emmy-winning screenwriter Aguinaldo Silva. The plot tells the story of two Portuguese soldiers who have a forbidden romance in Olinda, in the captaincy of Pernambuco, at the beginning of the 17th century, exploring themes that are typical of the Brazilian colonial period. He also directed the movie biography Mauricio de Sousa: O Realizador de Sonhos (Mauricio de Sousa: The Dream Maker), for Disney+. The documentary promises to portray the entire story of Mauricio de Sousa, the creator of the comic strip "Monica’s Gang".
Alexandre Avancini
Alexandre Avancini is a well-known Brazilian director who has had important projects in both Brazilian television and cinema. With an established career, he is widely regarded as the best action director in Brazilian television. A TV Globo employee for 23 years, he did splendid work in the miniseries Presença de Anita (The Presence of Anita) and "The Fifth of Hell," as well as the soap operas História de Amor (Love Story), "Four Lives, Four Loves," "Uga Uga," and "Kubanacan."
Avancini was instrumental in increasing Record TV's ratings, having directed some of the network's highest-rated soap operas, including “Proof of Love," Vidas Opostas (Opposite Lives), Pecado Mortal (Mortal Sin), "Ways of the Heart," Os Dez Mandamentos (Moses and the Ten Commandments) "The Promised Land," and the biblical series "Joseph from Egypt" and “Jezabel."
"The Ten Commandments," one of his best-known films, broke all box office records in Brazil with 11.2 million sold tickets, surpassing "Elite Squad 2." The film debuted in 1,100 cinemas with 3.2 million early tickets sold, surpassing "Star Wars." Stargate, in Los Angeles, created the special effects for this Moses-related biblical story. Both Netflix and Telecine Channel acquired the movie "The Ten Commandments" and distributed it in 12 countries.
Alexandre Avancini directed “Nothing to Lose" in 2018, which became the biggest box office hit in Brazilian cinema once again, with 11.7 million tickets sold, surpassing "The Ten Commandments." With a strong track record in Brazilian cinema, he directed the sequel "Nothing to Lose 2," in 2019.
Currently, Alexandre Avancini is involved in his new film "Zombie Rio," an American production, the series Proscritos (Proscribed), by Daniel Adjafre, and De Quem é o Dinheiro? (Whose Money is it?), written by Solange Castro Neves, both produced by the Diosual production company.
Carlos Lombardi
Carlos Lombardi is one of Brazil's main series and soap opera authors. He joined TV Globo in 1981. Three years later, he signed his first soap opera as the main author. "Vereda Tropical," was highly praised and considered distinguished for its vibrancy. His trademark style, marked by a language full of action, humor, and sarcastic dialogue, first appeared in 1988's Bebê a Bordo (Baby on Board) and persisted throughout his career in films like Perigosas Peruas (Dangerous Ladies) (1992), "Four Lives, Four Loves" (1994), Vira-Lata (Stray Dog) (1996), "Uga Uga" (2000), "Kubanacan" (2003), and Pé na Jaca (Making a Mess) (2006).
Carlos Lombardi also wrote the miniseries “The Fifth of Hell" (2002), which satirically retold the passage of the Portuguese Royal Family through Brazil. In the second half of 2008, he authored the weekly series "War and Peace," aired on Fridays, which was inspired by a year-end special of the same name that aired in 2007. He left TV Globo in 2012 and began working for Record TV, where he signed "Mortal Sin" (2013). Carlos Lombardi also contributed to films such as As Aventuras de Mário Fofoca (The Adventures of Mario Fofoca) (1983), directed by Adriano Stuart, “Subway to the Stars” (1987), directed by Cacá Diegues, Zoando na TV (Fooling around on TV) (1999), directed by José Alvarenga Junior, and Mais uma Vez Amor (Love Once Again) (2005), directed by Rosane Svartman.
Solange Castro Neves
Solange Castro Neves is a well-known writer and screenwriter with a three-decade career. With a bachelor’s degree in film and television from the Armando Alvares Penteado Foundation (FAAP), she has excelled as co-writer and main author of several successful soap operas on TV Globo, including A Viagem (The Voyage), "Secrets of Sand," Brega e Chique (Tacky and Chic), Que Rei Sou Eu (What King Am I?) and Quem é Você (Who are you?). She also wrote soap operas for Record TV, including Marcas da Paixão (Marks of Passion) and “Wheel of Life.”
In addition to her contribution to television, Solange spent 17 years writing short stories for Editora Abril, a publishing house, which demonstrates her literary versatility. She is also the author of the book Magia da Terra – Roteiro para TV (Earth Magic - Screenwriting for TV).
Solange is a pedagogue and has a graduate degree in screenwriting from FAAP. She has taught film and television screenwriting throughout her career.
She also ventured into theater, writing plays such as Escolha Fatal (Fatal Choice) and Reconciliação (Reconciliation), not to mention musicals like O Cristal Encantado (The Enchanted Crystal) and A Viagem (The Voyage).
Solange Castro Neves is an influential person in Brazilian literature and television, with a long list of successes to her credit that are still enjoyed by audiences.
Cristianne Fridman
The soap opera writer Cristianne Fridman was born in the city of Rio de Janeiro on May 8, 1961. She holds a bachelor’s degree in advertising and publicity with a major in journalism. She began her career as a literary critic for Jornal do Comércio newspaper before earning a master's degree in Portuguese and literature from PUC Rio.
Her passion for television led her to consider a career as a soap opera writer. In 1985, she became interested in TV Globo's Screenwriter Workshop after seeing an advertisement in the newspaper. Cristianne was determined, so she bought a book on TV scripts, wrote her own, and submitted it. She was selected and dropped her master's thesis for the opportunity to take part in TV Globo's Screenwriter Workshop. From then on, she has never stopped.
TV Globo hired Cristianne, and she collaborated with Mauro Wilson on the show Gente Inocente (Innocent People). She wrote seasons of "Young Hearts" and worked alongside Emanuel Jacobina on the soap opera "Student’s Hearts" and Fausto Galvão in the series “Heavy Load.”
She also worked briefly at SBT, where she co-wrote the soap opera Dona Anja (Ms. Anja) with Yoya Wursch, which was directed by Roberto Talma.
In 2005, Cristianne joined Record TV to work on the soap opera “These Women" with Rosane Lima and Marcílio Moraes. She also collaborated with Bosco Brasil on “Savage". In 2008, Record aired Cristianne’s first solo soap opera, “Flames of Life". In 2010, she pitched the broadcaster a soap opera based on the lives of a group of lottery winners. The plot was approved, and "Jackpot!" aired from May 2011 to April 2012. She went on to write the soap opera “Victory!"
She was only away from television for six months after leaving Record TV. During that time, she worked for SPi in Portugal. She later returned to Brazil and joined Record TV again, where she collaborated with Paula Richard on the soap opera "The Rich and Lazarus." In 2019, she launched three projects: the macroseries "Jezabel," and the soap operas Topíssima (Powerful Woman) and Amor Sem Igual (Unparalleled Love).
Cristianne Fridman was regarded as one of Record TV's most prominent authors since several of her soap operas became huge successes and gained widespread recognition with the audience.
Cristianne Fridman left Record TV in December 2022, after 17 years of collaboration, and is currently working on independent projects.
Paula Richard
Paula Richard worked as a television producer in the 1980s before relocating to France, where she lived for seven years. After returning to Brazil, she began her career as a screenwriter. With 17 years of experience in broadcast television, she has written for several productions, including the soap operas "Opposite Lives," “Flames of Life," “River of Intrigues," and "Moses and the Ten Commandments," as well as the series "The Law and the Crime" and "Overwhelming Women." She was also the main author of several episodes of the television series “The Miracles of Jesus".
Among her achievements is the creation of the miniseries "Lia," and writing the soap operas "Jesus" and "The Rich and Lazarus," which were broadcasted on Record TV and were a huge success among the Latin market audience before being sold overseas.
Marcilio Moraes
Marcílio Moraes was born in the city of Petropolis, Rio de Janeiro (RJ). He is a short story writer, novelist, playwright, and screenwriter. He initially studied Language and Literature at the former National School of Philosophy (FNFi). He has worked as a teacher, translator, journalist, theatre critic, publicist, proofreader, dictionary compiler, and technical advisor to the National Art Foundation (Funarte).
His first short story was published in 1969 in the magazine Cadernos Brasileiros. In the 1970s, he wrote short stories and, under a pseudonym, penned adventure books that were sold at newsstands.
In 1974, Marcílio began his career as a playwright. Plays like Mumu: A Vaca Metafísica (Mumu: The Metaphysical Cow) Sonata sem dó (Sonata Without Mercy), Correntes (Chains), and "Aracelli" are among his most famous works in the theater. He received awards from the former National Theatre Service and the "Author Revelation" award from the São Paulo Association of Art Critics (APCA).
In the 1980s, Marcílio Moraes transitioned to television, beginning his career at TV Globo with the miniseries A Juíza (The Judge) by Armando Costa and Ferreira Gullar. He continued to contribute to TV Globo, with special mention to his work on "Roque Santeiro" alongside Dias Gomes. Throughout his television career, he has written for soap operas such as Roda de Fogo (Wheel of Fire), "Mandala," Mico Preto (Black Howler Monkey)," “Dream of Mine," and the remake of Irmãos Coragem (Coragem Brothers). Furthermore, his talent extended to miniseries, including Laércio é Nosso Rei (Laércio is our King), “The Brides of Copacabana," "Dona Flor and Her Two Husbands," and "Chiquinha Gonzaga," as well as noteworthy specials such as "The Big Family," O Dia Mais Quente do Ano (The hottest day of the year), and Aventuras de um Barnabé (The Adventures of a Barnabas).
Marcílio Moraes left TV Globo at the end of 2002, and his debut novel, O Crime da Gávea (The Crime of Gávea), was published in 2003 by 7 Letras. In addition to his writing career, he was also elected president of the Screenwriters’ Association, a position he held until 2010.
Hired by Record TV in 2005, he wrote the soap operas "These Women," "Opposite Lives," (winner of several APCA awards and the Troféu Imprensa award) and "River of Intrigues," as well as the series "The Law and the Crime," in 2009, “Crossing the Line," in 2012, and "Obscure Power," in 2014.
Marcílio Moraes wrote, produced, and signed the film O Crime da Gávea (The Crime of Gávea), released in 2017. In 2018, the publishing house 7 Letras released his second novel, Entre as Estrelas: Aquiles (Among the Stars: Achilles). He is currently the author of De Peito Aberto (Comédias, Dramas e Tragédias) — O Teatro de Marcílio Moraes (Open-Hearted (Comedies, Dramas, and Tragedies): Marcílio Moraes' Theatre).
Carlos Henrique Marques
Carlos Henrique Galvão Marques is a member of the Brazilian Academy of Cinema and Visual Arts, ABRA – Brazilian Association of Screenwriters, and AFI – American Film Institute in Hollywood. Graduated from Writing for Performance and Entertainment Industries and Business Success in the Industries at the University of Cambridge, he is a screenwriter, director, producer, and actor. With more than 21 years of experience in production and content creation, he has worked for major broadcasters and producers in Brazil and the USA.
He wrote nine soap operas and one series, including the soap opera 'Revelação' (2008), 'Vende-se Um Véu de Noiva' (2009), 'Corações Feridos' (2012), 'Carrossel' (2012), 'Chiquititas' (2013, remake), the children's series 'Patrulha Salvadora' (2014), 'Cúmplices de um Resgate' (2015), 'As Aventuras de Poliana' (2018), winner of the 2018 Folha e Contigo Award for best soap opera, and 'Poliana Moça' (2022), winner at the Na Telinha award for best soap opera. Other success stories are part of his repertoire. He also co-wrote the screenplay for the blockbuster film 'As Aventuras de Poliana: O Filme (2023).'
He wrote the script for the feature film 'Rosa the Fighter' for the American industry, winning the Cannes Screenplay Contest and receiving nominations for best original screenplay at the Beverly Hills Film Festival and the Burbank Film Festival. He received an honorable mention for the screenplay 'Beautiful Mind' at the UK Film Festival and 'Guinevere,' as well as the best original screenplay at the LA Television Script and Film Festival. In 2019, he won the Beverly Hills Screenplay with 'Rosa the Fighter.'

Tiago Santiago
Tiago Santiago played an important role as a screenwriter for TV Globo in several major productions, including "Vamp," Olho no Olho (Eye to Eye) "Uga Uga," Malhação 2001 (Young Hearts 2001), "The Fifth of Hell," and "Kubanacan." He also contributed by authoring 50 episodes of the series Você Decide (It's Your Call), in which he also worked as script coordinator and was involved in deploying the series “Hot Line."
Tiago Santiago left a mark at TV Record by writing some of the TV network’s most popular soap operas, including "The Slave Isaura," "Proof of Love," "Ways of the Heart," “The Mutants: Ways of the Heart," and “The Mutants: Simply Love." He also acted as supervisor for "Savage". From 2005 until 2009, he worked as a soap opera consultant at Record TV, where he was instrumental in the creation and success of the network’s soap opera hub.
Tiago Santiago wrote the remake of Uma Rosa Com Amor (A Rose with Love) and the soap opera Amor e Revolução (Love and Revolution) for the Brazilian TV network SBT. He also worked for FOX, writing the miniseries Na Mira do Crime (In the Crosshairs of Crime) which aired on FX and Record TV.
He received an APCA (São Paulo Association of Art Critics) Award for his work on the soap operas “The Slave Isaura,” and "Proof of Love." Tiago Santiago is also a five-time nominee for the Contigo Award for best soap opera writer.
Tiago Santiago has a solid academic background, with a bachelor’s degree in social sciences and a master's degree in sociology from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ). He also completed the Professional Program in Screenwriting at the University of California, Los Angeles.
As a literary author, he wrote the books "Francisco" for the Record publishing house, and Os Caminhos do Mago (The Ways of the Wizard) for the TXS publishing house. More recently, he co-wrote the novel "Dandara" with Barbara Garcia and Vinicius Sylvestre, which was published by the Giostri publishing house. "Dandara" tells the story of a woman who became a symbol of resistance in Angola Janga, a 17th-century free kingdom also known as the Quilombos dos Palmares. The book is regarded as an amazing adventure infused with love, bravery, and thorough historical research. Tiago Santiago is currently working on adapting "Dandara" into a TV series.
Vincent Villari
Vincent Villari was born in 1978 and has a degree in social communication from Cásper Líbero College. He worked on the scripts for the TV Globo miniseries A Muralha (The Conquest), “The Maias," and "Seven Women," as well as the soap operas "Evil Angel" (remake), "Shades of Sin," "Snakes & Lizards," "The Favorite," and "All the Flowers." He co-wrote "Tititi" (remake) with Maria Adelaide Amaral, "Tangled Hearts," and “Wounded Past.”
Vincent Villari is the author of several books, including A Lua e o Aço (The Moon and the Steel, a novel), A que ponto chegamos (How far we have come) (short stories and humor), O Livro Mais Chato do Mundo (The Most Boring Book in the World), a children's book, with Luciana Garcia), and Teletema, a história da música popular através da teledramaturgia brasileira (Teletema, a teledramaturgy-based history of popular music in Brazil), with Guilherme Bryan.
Renê Belmonte
Renê Belmonte is a well-known Brazilian screenwriter who has excelled in both film and television. Throughout his career, he has written the screenplays for several blockbuster movies, including Jorge Fernando's "Sex, Love and Betrayal" (2004) and Daniel Filho's comedies Se Eu Fosse Você (If I Were You) (2006), and Se eu Fosse Você 2 (If I Were You 2) (2009).
A writer for various television shows, including “Overwhelming Women," which he created (Record TV and Canal Fox), and "Under New Management" (TV Globo), among others, his versatility and talent as a screenwriter have led him to work on several high-profile productions.
In addition to his contributions to the audiovisual industry, Renê Belmonte gained valuable experience in television and film project development while working at the Total Filmes production company from 2001 to 2004. In 2005, he shared his knowledge by teaching screenwriting at the Higher School of Advertising and Marketing (ESPM).
Renê Belmonte is responsible for feature film screenplays such as Sexo com Amor? (Sex with Love?) (2008), directed by Wolf Maya, "Streets of Rio" (2008), directed by Alexander Picki, and "Head Over Heels 3" (2019), directed by Julia Resende. His work shows his ability to experiment with a number of genres and film techniques.
One of his most recent works was as a screenwriter for HBO Max platform's first original series, "The Missing," for which he is also writing his most recent project, the television film "Morro Junto," produced by Fernando Meirelles. Daniel Adjafre
Daniel Adjafre is a well-known screenwriter with a solid 22-year career at TV Globo. He began his career writing for different comedy shows and later rose to prominence as showrunner and co-creator of popular series such as Casos e Acasos (Cases and Chances), S.O.S. Emergência (Emergency S.O.S.) and A Cara do Pai (Looks just like Dad). His influence can also be found in series like City of Men and Batendo Ponto (Punching In), as well as soap operas like “The Life We Lead” and “Parts of Me”.
Daniel Adjafre took a huge step forward in his career in 2018 when he was chosen as lead author for his first soap opera, “God Save the King.”
In addition to his work on television, Daniel is a multifaceted professional. He shared his knowledge as a screenwriting professor at the undergraduate and the graduate film programs at Estácio de Sá. His mastery of the arts is not limited to the screen, as he is also a master of theater, having staged several plays.
With an innovative vision, Daniel Adjafre stood out by earning a master’s degree in neuroscience and behavior from PUC-RS. His research concentrated on the application of creative processes in writers' rooms, reflecting his dedication to better storytelling and audiovisual production.
Rodrigo Castilho
Rodrigo Castilho is a renowned screenwriter who has collaborated on several high-profile TV productions. He played a key role in the creation and development of successful shows and had a remarkable career in Brazilian television.
Castilho was the co-creator and head writer of several popular series, including Mal Me Quer (He loves me not) (Warner), O Negócio (The Business) (HBO), Descolados (The Cool Gang) (MTV), and "Mothern" (GNT). His contribution to "Mothern" earned him an International Emmy Awards nomination in 2007.
Beyond his work in series, Rodrigo held the position of head screen adapter and screenwriter for the animated adaptation of "Sítio do Pica-Pau Amarelo" (Yellow Woodpecker Ranch), which aired on Cartoon Network. Since 2014, Rodrigo Castilho has expanded his work by collaborating on TV Globo soap operas. He was part of the screenwriting team for the soap operas "Parts of Me" (aired at 6 p.m.) and "In Your Place" (aired on prime time at 9 p.m.).
His talent and versatility as a screenwriter significantly contributed to the success of several television productions, consolidating his career in the entertainment industry.
João Siqueira Sousa
João Sequeira Sousa is a television screenwriter who works in different formats. Born in Porto, Portugal, in 1978, he has a degree in architecture and law. In 2011, João was invited by Rui Vilhena to write the TV film Intriga Fatal (Fatal Intrigue) which was broadcasted by TVI. During the same period, he established a professional collaboration with António Barreira, winner of the International Emmy Award for Best Soap Opera in 2010 for TVI's O Meu Amor (My Love). Together they collaborated on the TVI soap operas O Beijo do Escorpião (The Kiss of the Scorpion) (2014) and A Impostora (The Pretender) (2015).
In 2016, João directed the adaptation of a Russian comedy series called "Kitchen," in partnership with Joana Pereira da Silva, for RTP (Radio and Television of Portugal). The next year, he started collaborating with Maria João Costa, a Best Telenovela Emmy Award winner for TVI's Ouro Verde (The Payback) in 2018. During this collaboration, he worked as a screenwriter on the TVI-broadcasted soap operas "Value of Life” (2018) and "Unlimited Love" (2020). In 2020, João reduced and edited the 221 episodes of soap opera "The Payback" for the international market.
João has also worked in the entertainment industry as a producer and screenwriter for the state channel RTP. He took part in TV shows such as Notícias do Meu País (News from My Country) and the general culture contest "Brainstorm". Since 2017, he has worked as a screenwriter and content researcher for Praça da Alegria (Joy Square), one of the longest-running entertainment shows on Portuguese television. The program is broadcast live around the world from Monday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on RTP. João also worked as a screenwriter and researcher on several specials, such as Aqui Portugal (Portugal Here) Santos Populares (Popular Saints), Especial Páscoa (Easter Special), and many others, all produced by RTP.
In recognition of its contribution, Praça da Alegria (Joy Square) was considered the best Portuguese morning television program at the end of 2022 and received the "Consumer Choice 2023” award. João has written over 900 soap opera screenplays and 1,300 entertainment show scripts in his career, totaling over 5,000 hours of television production.
Virgílio Silva
Virgílio Silva is an outstanding screenwriter and journalist. In 2014, he made his TV Globo debut as a screenwriter and researcher in Aguinaldo Silva's soap opera "Empire," which won the prestigious International Emmy Award in 2014. Virgilio also co-wrote another Aguinaldo Silva soap opera, O Sétimo Guardião (The Seventh Guardian), as well as the film Crô em Família (Crô with Family), the second spin-off for the character written for the soap opera “Looks and Essence.”
One of Virgílio Silva's most promising projects is the soap opera Três Graças (Three Wishes), which he co-authored with Aguinaldo Silva and Zé da Silva. This soap opera has the potential to become another success in his career.
Virgilio also teaches a screenwriting master class at Casa Aguinaldo Silva de Artes, passing on his skills and experience to future generations of screenwriters.
Virgílio worked as a journalist, occupying the positions of reporter and editor for both TV Globo Brasília and SBT Brasília. He later began his career in television as a screenwriter and researcher. His diverse career path that crossed between journalism and television writing has established him as a powerful and respected presence in the Brazilian audiovisual scene.
Valéria Motta
Valéria Motta held the position of editorial assistant for the national market at the publishing house Objetiva for nine years. Her career took a new direction in 2006 when she joined Record TV. She worked as a journalist and screenwriter for 15 years, collaborating on ten notable soap operas:

Valéria is currently dedicated to developing the series A Presa (The Prey) and Mãe de Autista (Mother of an Autistic) for the independent market.
Wilson Mello
Wilson Mello, born in Monte Carmelo in Minas Gerais (MG), dreamt of being a writer since he was a teenager. His passion for writing began early on, at six years old, when his mother taught him how to read and write. Wilson has taught Portuguese, Literature, and English throughout his life, but he has never lost sight of his primary goal: telling stories.
With novels published by Baraúna publishing house, Wilsons’s greatest works include A Menina Que Não Tinha Medo do Escuro (The Girl Who Wasn't Afraid of the Dark) and Jordan Grey e A Montanha do Medo (Jordan Grey and the Mountain of Fear), the latter of which is set to be released in English by Amazon later this year. In addition, high schools have adopted his book Conta Comigo (Count on Me) as part of their reading programs.
Wilson's portfolio contains more than 300 projects, including print, digital, and paper publications. In addition to writing, he has dedicated many years to proofreading books, helping to enhance over 200 works by diverse Brazilian authors. He also worked as a ghostwriter for a period, writing books for hire in addition to helping children and teenagers turn their literary dreams into reality.
The Academia Patrocinense de Letras (Patrocinense Letters Academy, or (APL as per its Portuguese acronym) of the state of Minas Gerais (MG) welcomed him as a member for his contributions to literature. He has co-written a soon to be released book with renowned author Júlio Emílio Braz, winner of the Jabuti Prize, the most prestigious honor for Brazilian authors.
Wilson is not only a writer but a talented songwriter, with more than 50 recorded songs currently being evaluated by renowned singers in Brazil. He co-wrote a song with Jujuba, one of the country's most well-known songwriters and record producers and composed a gospel song in English for an American singer who is at the start of her career.
Wilson Mello enjoys painting canvases and playing musical instruments such as the guitar, flute, and piano in his scarce moments of leisure. He often says that he only plays for his pleasure and his favorite kitty, Baby.
Luiz Felipe Petruccelli
His career crosses numerous fields of expertise as a historian, researcher, teacher, playwriter, and screenwriter. Initially, he stood out as a theatrical author, responsible for plays such as Mercado Amoroso (Love Market) in partnership with Megg Santos, and “Faces.”
He worked as a co-writer on the feature film Gosto de Fel (Taste of Bitterness), which is now being finalized. He also contributed to the creation of the synopsis for Aguinaldo Silva's soap opera O Sétimo Guardião (The Seventh Guardian), a notable production broadcasted by TV Globo.
He is currently working on the adaptation of series No País das Sombras (Land of Shadows), produced by Diosual and based on the novel by Aguinaldo Silva.
Bolivar Soares
Bolivar Soares is a teacher and writer with a degree in pharmacy/biochemistry, Portuguese & Spanish modern languages and respective literatures, as well as a master’s degree. He has already published two novels, entitled Segredos (Secrets) and Depois do Túnel (After the Tunnel). Bolivar also collaborated to writing the synopsis of the soap opera O Sétimo Guardião (The Seventh Guardian), written by Aguinaldo Silva and aired by TV Globo between 2018 and 2019. An immortal member of the Araraquara, São Paulo-based Brazilian Academy of Luminescence, he also took first place in the Prosa na Estrada literary competition, which was sponsored by the Rio Grande do Sul Department of Culture.
Bolivar Soares has short stories published in literary collections and works as a cultural producer in the Brazilian state of Rio Grande do Sul. He refined his screenwriting skills for soap operas, series, and films through courses with renowned professionals such as Aguinaldo Silva, Thelma Guedes, Solange Castro Neves, Bosco Brasil, and Ricardo Tiezzi. Bolivar has several projects under way, including soap operas, miniseries, series, and TV films.
He is currently working on a cultural project named Os Cânions do Fim do Mundo (The Canyons at the End of the World), a cultural project with federal tax incentives granted through the Rouanet Law. This work of fiction is set in southern Brazil's Aparados da Serra National Park and Serra Geral Park. The plot tells the story of Olívio, a misanthropic man, and Wanda, a woman searching for meaning in her life. They meet in a picturesque place and form delicate, endearing connections, unaware that their lives are deeply interwoven by a big secret. He is the creator and writer of the series Mulheres 2 Mil (Women 2 Thousand), which is now under development at Diosual.
Thalma Bertozzi
Writer, screenwriter, actress, and advertiser with 34 years of artistic experience and 23 years of partnership with acclaimed novelist Solange Castro Neves, most known for her work at the Globo and Record networks. Thalma holds a degree in advertising and publicity with an emphasis on marketing administration from Anhembi Morumbi University (1985), and she also works as a proofreader, ghostwriter, cover artist, and illustrator, having contributed to approximately 50 titles.
In 2018, she founded Editora Magis, which has already published 23 books. Her talent extends to several formats, including soap operas, novelistic projects, feature films, series, theater, and institutional videos.
